Ethnic Enrichment Commission Re-brand
Focus: Social Media Posts
As part of a college class, we were given the opportunity to create a rebrand for the Ethnic Enrichment Commission (EEC) of Kansas City. The process started with us splitting into three concept groups to choose from, and I was part of the team working on abstract and icon designs.
I was in charge of creating some initial social media posts for our pitch, so I used a flowing frame shape combined with our icons at the bottom of each post. After the pitch, we split into new teams, and I returned to the social media group, where we refined how our posts would look within our concept. I created spotlight posts using photos from the EEC’s festival, where we celebrate the countries they represent during holidays like Black History Month.
I’ve attached our final guidelines pitch, which features all the work we did as a class for the project.
